DNS Management Information
Controlling your domain can be a daunting experience, one that can be complicated and at times difficult to understand. That's where we take the headache away.
We can manage all your DNS requirements including, but not limited to:
- Nameserver's (NS)
- Host records (A)
- Alias records (CName)
- Mail server records (MX)
Don't know what they are? We do, that's why we are here.
Host records (A )
The A (Address) record is the vital link between the host name and the IP address. All Internet host machines must have an A name record somewhere in the DNS system.
Alias records (CName)
The CNAME (Canonical Name) record is an alias, it points to another host name (A). The DNS administrator may use CNAME records to define virtual host names.
Mail server records (MX)
MX (Mail Exchange) records specify whether the host is running an email server or messages for this host should go to another mail server machine
